Arrozeria means “The House of Rice” and they mean business when it comes to their authentic Spanish paella. Not only that. They’ve collaborated with the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) to find local heirloom rice from Cordillera.
They have different kinds of paella. The classic, soupy, creamy, saucy, and thin noodles. I had the classic Valenciana. That’s paella with chicken, rosemary, green and white beans.
VALENCIANA
12″ 2-3pax Php590
15″ 4-5pax Php1130
18″ 6-8pax Php1720
Aside from their paella, there’s something that will make me come back to this place again and again. It’s Lengua Frita Php380. It’s deep fried angus ox tongue coated in bechamel with tartar sauce. On the outside, it’s crunchy. Inside, it’s so creamy and the meat melts in your mouth!!!
The Gambas Con Gabardina Negra Php395 is very interesting. It’s squid ink battered shrimps.
How about some octopus? Try their Salpicon De Pulpo Php370. That’s marinated octopus in a capsicum and onion vinaigrette.
For drinks, the mango iced tea (Php110) is light, sweet, and refreshing.
They also have interesting desserts that I’m sure you haven’t tried yet.
The ambiance is modern and industrial. When you look up, you’ll see upside-down ladders from the ceiling. There are designs of rice sacks all around. It’s not just the food and the ambiance, the service is also awesome.
