For serious burger lovers, you have to visit 8Cuts Burger Blends. You can choose from the burger selection or let your imagination help you create your own burger masterpiece.
It’s called 8Cuts Burger Blends because their burger patties are made of ground beef sliced from eight different premium cuts.
Try to experiment on your burger. It’s fun. Here are the steps:
1. Choose your bun: sesame, brioche, Kaiser
2. Choose your toppings: fresh red tomatoes, white onions, crisp lollo rossa lettuce, pickles, ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise (and more)
3. What’s your beef? Choose from the house ground custom patty blends:
– The House Blend: short rib + rib eye
– The Beef Bomb: chuck + short rib
– The Steak Cut: sirloin + chuck
– The Big Game: hanger + brisket
– The Ox Blend: flank + oxtail + rib eye
4. Add more cheese, sauce and toppings from their selection
This was what I had:
bun: kaiser
patty: house blend
toppings: tomatoes, white onions, caramelized onions, lettuce, pickles, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise
additional toppings: bleu cheese sauce and truffle creamed cheese
I enjoyed this a lot, especially the bleu cheese and creamed cheese. It’s very heavy. I think this could be shared.
I also tried several burgers from their burger selection.
The Q-Daddy’s a quarter-pounder ox blend patty of flank, oxtail and rib eye with yellow cheddar, onion tanglers, crisp bacon strips, iceberg lettuce, tomato, jalapeno ranch and sweetly spiced BBQ sauce all on a sesame seed bun. It was big, making it a challenge for me to get a big bite. I had to slice the goodness with a bread knife and use my fork.
The Bleu Burger’s really good. It’s an onion-griddled quarter-pounder steak cut blend patty of sirloin and chuck with bleu cheese sauce, fried crispy leeks, blue cheese crumble, caramelized onions, lollo rossa greens all on a brioche bun.
Their Four Cheese was a surprise. It had fried basil on top! It’s a beef bomb blend of chuck and short rib, yellow cheddar, monterey cheese, parmesan crusted mozzarella, garlic aioli on sesame seed bun.
Four Cheese is a Parmesan-crusted beef bomb blend patty of chuck and short rib, yellow cheddar, aged gruyere, mozzarella, arugula, garlic aioli, marinara sauce, all on a sesame seed bun.
Who wants bacon? Here’s a burger with bacon strips and bacon jam. It was my first time to taste bacon jam — it’s sweet and it works. Piggy’s a beef bomb blend patty of chuck and short rib, yellow cheddar, crispy bacon strips, house-made bacon jam, lollo rossa greens, and garlic aioli on a sesame seed bun.
The Hang-Over is their onion-griddled big game blend patty of hanger and brisket, yellow cheddar, crisp prosciutto, fried egg, arugula, honey spiced BBQ sauce and house aioli on a sesame seed bun.
You can also try their non-burger goodies.
Their onion rings are a must. They’re crispy and barbecue flavored.
The Good Ol’ Hot Fried Wings are delicious. They’re crunchy, sweet and spicy.
For drinks, I found the Red Velvet Caked Shake very interesting. It’s the red velvet cake blended into a drink. It’s like drinking my dessert! It’s very heavy.
Now for their real desserts. I tasted three. They call these Dig Deep Desserts. I think this is because you just don’t eat the top part first from the glass. You have to dig deep. Get some from the bottom part and some from the top so you can enjoy the flavors.
Topping my list is the Molten Chocolate Bottoms. On top you have the sweet part, but at the bottom you have the dark chocolate taste. So I dug deep and got some from the bottom with my spoon, and I also had some from the top.
Enjoy the mix of the sweet and creamy from above and the bitter dark chocolate from below. It’s a must for chocolate lovers. Other Dig Deep Desserts include Blueberry Cheesecake and Caramel Vanilla Bread Pudding.
I don’t know if it’s just me, but another reason I keep coming back to this place is their unbelievable service and rapport with guests. I have no idea how they train the staff but it makes me feel at home.
